[EBB Sightings] Hayward Shoreline

Seen at the shoreline today -

Greater White-fronted Geese - 104. 97 flying in a flock, 5 on the Radio Tower Hills, and 2 at San Lorenzo Community Park. The most I have seen at the shoreline prior to this was 58 in Dec. of 1986.

Snow Geese - 5. 1 on the Radio Tower Hills and 4 on the Golf Course across the road at the San Leandro Marina Inn at the marina.

Ross Geese - 5 on the Radio Tower Hills.

Cackling Geese - 35.

Surfbird - 7 at the San Leandro Marina.

Tropical Kingbird - 1 in the usual area.

Lapland Longspur - 1. This bird of Steve's is only the 4th record I have for winter since 1988. Fron 1983-1988 they were regularly seen in winter.
