    All,
I went back to Cushing Parkway in Fremont at lunch time to see if I could re-find the Ferruginous Hawk I spotted earlier this morning. No Luck with that, and all of the CAGO's departed as well. I was exploring the Warm Springs Trail of Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge which is on the southern end of the pasture area, I was watching 5 Red-Tailed Hawks circling above when a juvenile Rough-legged Hawk leisurely cruised from the South and began kiting directly adjacent to me. I had great looks at the white wings, dark wrist patches and wing tips. It hung around for about 5 minutes before gliding to the North towards AutoMall Expressway. Also seen where an American Kestrel, 2 Common Yellowthroats, and a Savannah Sparrow.
It seems like a good day for Hawk watching.
