[EBB Sightings] Longspurs continue at Hayward Shoreline

Found one Lapland Longspur near the white pole in roughly the middle of Mt.
Trashmore at the Hayward Shoreline at 10:30 today. It moved to the southwest
corner of Mt. Trashmore and was joined by a second Lapland Longspur. Both
were furtive and difficult to keep in view. Since they have been reported in
several locations, the best method to find them is probably to carefully and
methodically walk the whole top of Mt. Trashmore. 

Also flushed a burrowing owl near the white pole.
