[EBB Sightings] East Alameda County

This morning near the railroad crossing on Patterson Pass Rd was a large
mixed flock of passerines, Lark Sparrow, WC Sparrow, Savannah Sparrow, House
Finch, Lesser and American Goldfinches. The presence of all these birds
brought two Prairie Falcons very close for great views.

About 1/2 mile farther east was a flock of 21 Long-billed Curlew feeding on
the ground.

Over Byron Airport I had a circling Ferruginous Hawk, south of the airport
was a circling Golden Eagle. Further south on Burns Rd I had two circling
Ferruginous Hawks.
