[EBB Sightings] Re: killdeer in Berkeley

Wildlife sightings in urban Berkeley never cease to amaze me. Tonight  
while out walking (9:30 pm) there were a half dozen killdeer on the  
bowling green lawn at Bancroft and Acton. They were calling to each  
other and flying low, flushing bugs from the lawn. I have heard them  
in the vicinity before but had never tracked them down. I wonder if  
they are attracted to the lawn by the lights....(?)
