[EBB Sightings] acorns and jays

Anyone who hasn't heard or read Mark Twain's short story, "Baker's Blue Jay 
Yarn" should locate a copy and read it.  Since it takes place in the Mother 
Lode the "Blue jays" in the story are Scrub jays, clearly.  It's a wonderful 
story and the entire narrative is based upon the birds' habit of hoarding 
acorns this time of year.
