    Seen today (9/26) at the shoreline
    
    Plegdis sp. Ibis - 1 flyby at Winton.
    Wandering Tattler - 1 at the San Leandro Marina.
    Surfbird - 26. Along the bayshore, 25 were half way between San 
       Lorenzo Creek and the Tony Lema Golf Course. The other one was at 
       the San Leandro Marina.
    Baird's Sanpiper - 2 in the sludge pond at the Ora Loma Sewage 
       Treatment Plant.
    Buff-breasted Sandpiper - 1 in the same pond as the Baird's Sandpiper.
    Parasitic Jaeger - 1 juv. seen over the bay from the San Leandro 
       Marina.
    Black Tern - 1 in the city (Hayward) ponds near Mt. Trashmore.
    Common Murre - 1 found dead along the bay near the Ora Loma Sewage 
       Treatment.
    Pigeon Guillemot - 1 seen from the San Leandro Marina is only the 
       second one I have seen this far south in the bay.
    Chipping Sparrow - 1 on some fennel and coyote brush on the west side 
       of the trail just south of the sludge pond at the Ora Loma Sewage 
       Treatment Plant.
    Clay-colored Sparrow - 1 in a weedy field between the Grant Ave.
       parking area and San Lorenzo Creek.
