    Hi all:

Mary Wisnewski, Bill Walker, and I (MBBoverdrive) did
a Fall Challenge big day for SFBBO yesterday.

Bill Walker is working on the long report. Here's the
    short one:

127 species seen by all 3, 1 species seen by 2 of us,
and 3 species seen by one of us.

Highlights included: Snipe and RBSapsucker at
DelValle. Black-throated Gray Warbler at Tassajara
Creek RP. Lark Sparrow at Coyote Hills. PECTORAL
SANDPIPER at San leandro Marina. COMMON TERN at
    Cesar Chavez Park.

Huge misses: Most of the migrants seen by others at
    Winton Ave.
Snowy and Semi-palmated Plover, Red-shouldered Hawk,
Common Raven...... the list is long. :)

A beautiful day though. And for a great cause. Check
out sfbbo.org if you get a chance and sponsor a team,
or mount your own big day in any county in the state.
    There's still time.

    Good birding,
