    The following was seen at the shoreline today -
    
    Winton Ave. parking area
       no unusual birds seen
    
    Frank's Dump West
       Black-bellied Plover
       Semipalmated Plover - 300 (est.)
       Killdeer
       Snowy Plover - 1
       Black-necked Stilt
       Avericam Avocet
       Willet
       Whimbrel - 4
       Long-billed Curlew
       Marbled Godwit - including the bird with the white head and neck.
       Ruddy Turnstone - 9
       Black Turnstone - 2
       Surfbird - 3
       Red Knot
       Sanderling 30 (est.)
       Western Sandpiper
       Least Sandpiper
       Pectoral Sandpiper - 1 seen by others.
       Short-billed Dowitcher
       Dowithcher sp.
       Red-necked Phalarope
    
       Least Tern - 2 that may be the last seen this year.
    
    Other shorebirds
       Lesser Yellowlegs - 12, 2 near the Interpretive Center and 10 
          in a pond just south of the mouth of San Lorenzo Creek. Prior
          to today, the most I saw in one day was 8 in Oct. of 2004.
       Pectoral Sandpiper - 1 in the same pond as the 10 Lesser Yellowlegs.
