Yesterday (6/24/07) walking on the Bay Trail just north of the Pt Isabel Dog Park in El Cerrito I saw a good number of White-throated swifts flying across the trail. Also some Barn swallows feeding young on the bridge at Meeker Slough and further down the trail on the next bridge. A family of Gadwall (Female plus eight young) were in Meeker Slough as it curves behind the condominiums. There had been 10 young the week before.
