[EBB Sightings] Wood Duck in Heather Farm

Today, about mid-morning, I re-found a male Wood Duck which my wife and I 
first saw last Sunday.  We have not found it since.  It likes to be in the 
shadows on the northeast corner of the island in the big natural pond.

In the construction site at the north end of the Heather Farm, future home 
of the dog park, the Killdeer adults have two small chicks with them.  Don't 
know how they managed a possible second family with all that distraction. 
The reason I say "possible second family" is because I have seen as many as 
4 adults on the ball fields the last couple of months.  It would be hard to 
say if these are the parents of the first family.
