[EBB Sightings] L. Buntings at Hayward Shoreline

I took a few minutes at Winton Ave. just before lunch
today. I immediately found the imm. male L. Bunting on
the north side of the slough. As I viewed him &
listened, I was surprised to hear a second L. Bunting
answering on the south side, by the fenced in area. I
couldn't get a look at him, but his song was more
complex & varied than the immature. Makes me think it
was a mature male.
