[EBB Sightings] Mount Diablo on Cinco de Mayo

On May 5, Vern Bothwell and I, on a cold and windy Mt. Diablo, found a few good birds, including a male Calliope hummer, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers and Lazuli Buntings below the South Gate (reached from Blackhawk road), Townsend's and Hermit Warblers behind the North Gate ranger station, a Hutton's Vireo and more Townsend's and Hemit Warblers at Blue Oak/Oak Knoll picnic area, and Orange-crowned and Nashville Warblers at Muir and adjacent picnic areas.
