[EBB Sightings] What WAS that duck???-Miller/Knox Shoreline

Yesterday afternoon at the Shoreline Park in Point Richmond I beheld  
I don't know what. It was a very fat duck, more like a goose shape,  
with a dark brown body. It's head was red in the style of a turkey  
vulture-same texture and color. It also had a fashionable, slicked  
back short pony tail of mixed white and black colors.

Unfortunately, I was without my camera.

I am guessing it's a cross between a goose and some domestic or  
exotic duck. Any ideas???
