California Whiptail Lizard at San Antone Fire Station at the Junction.

California Tortoiseshell butterflies (50) at San Antonio Road "Culvert Pond" (9.21), on the ground next to the stream,
sipping the salt and mineral-rich water, and later, in both Santa Clara Co. and on Mines Road in Alameda,
hundreds in migration (an average of one per second while driving at 25 mph).

    Eurasian Collared-Doves (2) at Murrieta's Well wine-tasting center at Mines Road (2.5).

Hooded Oriole (male) at Murrieta's Well.
