[EBB Sightings] Grebes, White Pelican Lake Merritt

A group of 9 Eared Grebes (7 in breeding plumage) was swimming together 
today in the area between the playground and the eastern end of the lake. 
Closer to the east end were 7-8 Westerns and 1 Clark's. One lone White 
Pelican swimming. I think I recall seeing it with the GG Audubon group alast 
month. Does anyone knows if this is a disabled resident?
