[EBB Sightings] Hayward Shoreline

Seen Thursday at the shoreline (in spite of the wind):

Merlin - 1 seen late in the day on a post at Hayward's Landing. This is only the second one I 
   have seen at the shoreline in April.

Purple Martin - 1 male. Seen migrating north with a large flock of swallows. This is only the 
   second record I have for the shoreline.
