    Hi Everyone-

Today 4/7 Marcia Marvin and I walked around Sunol Regional Park, mainly the
visitor center and Ohlone Camp trails. We found 46 species, of which the
most interesting were a HAMMOND'S FLYCATCHER heard in subsong along the
creek, and a RUFOUS-CROWNED SPARROW singing in sticky monkeyflower about 200
yards past the folded sandstone exposure. Regular spring arrivals included
Warbling Vireo, House Wren, Orange-crowned Warbler, Black-headed Grosbeak,
Hooded Oriole, Bullock's Oriole, and Lawrence's Goldfinch. A Common
    Merganser flying downstream seemed late.
