The redhead duck continues to be on the pond -- the natural pond to the north 
-- at Heather Farm Park in Walnut Creek. We spotted it on the west side of 
the pond where numerous Canada geese hang out, along with several ringneck 
ducks. There also were about 12 buffleheads, the first year we've seen so many on 
the pond. Most winters there were one or two pairs.
