My wife Adele and I, and another birder saw the Townsend's Solitaire on Geary Road, about 0.3 mi from Calaveras Road, this morning at about 10:30 am. It was in a mud puddle on t he E. side of the road, flew into an Oak tree on the W. side, then onto the fence on the E. side, then across the road again and disappeared.

Yesterday, Friday, the Eurasian Wigeon was visible from Clubhouse Road, the entrance to the Las Positas Golf Course in Livermore, off Airport Road, at about 8 am. The pair of Eurasian Collared Doves were along the entrance road to Murrieta's Well off Mines Road 0.25 mi. S. of Tesla at about 10 am. The Bald Eagle was in his perch tree at Del Valle Park, on the SW side of the lake, across from the Hetch Hechy picnic area, at about 11:30 am.
