    No Skimmers today at 10:30, but scores upon scores of Surf Scoters -  
    especially from the jetty beyond the marina. There are also herons in  
    the nests in the large dead tree across from the rocky breakwater.  
    There was also a common loon in the small bay just at the end of McKay.
