Went to Byron late this afternoon to see and photograph the owls.
Was both lucky and unlucky. . . .

There are still 3-5 present, flying, hunting, and sitting. Same
field as described previously, and one on the field to the north. So
I was lucky to see them. Unlucky that they seemed to stay at least
100 yards away. Another birder was there, who, of course, had much
    closer views than I. . . .

Also, at least three White-tailed Kites, two Harriers, one juvenile
Red-tailed and one juvenile Swainson's were in the vicinity.

    Good Luck!!

    Steve
