    Hi EBBers,

I made a brief stop at Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area (located
near Pleasanton) today at around 5 p.m.

Feeding in the back pond (not the main lake) toward the BMX park were
    several male RING-NECKED DUCKS.

The resident OSPREY was seen flying overhead with a large fish in its
talons, and an unidentified accipiter (possibly/probably COOPER'S
    HAWK) also flew by.

On the main lake were COMMON GOLDENEYE, BUFFLEHEAD, RUDDY DUCK, among others.

It was getting too dark for birding so I left there rather quickly.

    Happy holidays,
    -Akira
