[EBB Sightings] Joaquin Miller Park, Lake Temescal, and Lafayette Reservoir

We had a very productive day at these places on
Sunday.  A representative list of interesting birds
seen:

Joaquin Miller:

Anna's Hummingbird
Scrub Jay
Steller Jay
Raven
Black Phoebe
Ruby Crowned Kinglet
Chestnut Backed Chickadee
Brown Creeper
Red Breasted Nuthatch
Juncos
Common Flicker

Lake Temescal:
Song Sparrow
Cormorant (many)
Pied-Billed Grebe
Bufflehead
Ruddy Duck

Lafayette:
Red Shouldered Hawks
Turkey Vulture
Osprey
Wrentit (loud!)
Acorn Woodpecker
Downey Woodpecker
Hermit Thrush
Song Sparrow
Oak Titmouse
Wild Turkey

We also saw a huge flock of Cedar Waxwings at home in
Martinez on Saturday AM.
