I was looking for somewhere new to bird/hike, and
these parks are listed on the city website as having
trails. Has anyone tried birding at any of these in
the last few years?

at Southgate Park (phases 6, 7, 9 and 11)
Greenbelt Trails Ward Creek Canyon, Hayward
