    Rich Cimino and I did Patterson Pass Road from Livermore to Tracy, and then onto Mountain House Road, Kelso, and Bruns in San Joaquin/Alameda County today.  The highlights were:
    
    41 Long-billed Curlews on a hillside off of Via Nicola Road, at PP Road and South 580, near Murco Olives
    21 LB Curlews on the hillside east of Mountain House Road at mm 1.38
    Rock Wrens on the east side of PP Road at mile maker  6.97, along with a Great Horned Owl that flushed up in the cottonwoods in the creek at the same place. 
     Burrowing Owl on the western hill at mm 5.47  PP Road
    Many Say's Phoebes along the way
    25 Red-Tails Hawks, including a dark morph on Bruns Road at the Byron-Bethany Irrigation District building
    1 Golden Eagle soaring with a RT
    Ferrugenous Hawk on Kelso Road
    Swainson's Hawk on Mountain House Road
