I went on an EB park hike today, beginning at the Bear Creek staging
area. The highlights were at least one flock of Horned Larks a bit
below Sindicich lagoon, and a large flock of Band-tailed Pigeons that
flushed from a tree as we were returning along Old Briones Road
trail. They flew around, landed in some trees across the way, then
flew over us. We could hear their wingbeats.
