[EBB Sightings] Yosemite, Central Valley, San Francisco

EBBers and other Northern California Birders,

On a recent road trip Deborah Fitzpatrick and I and two visiting birder 
friends from England observed the following birds in Northern California:

October 16, Yosemite National Park.   Four BLUE GROUSE at the entrance to 
the Glacier Point parking lot.  A GREAT GRAY OWL along Glacier Point Road in 
a small, unnamed meadow 5.9 miles east of Chinquapin Junction (see N. CA 
Delorme map, pg 110 for Chinquapin Jcn location)..

October 17, Yosemite National Park.  An adult BALD EAGLE in falling snow at 
Ellery Lake just east of Tioga Pass.

October 18, near Ripon.  A EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE on Austin Road at a ranch 
house 1 mile north of Caswell State Park.

October 19, Crissy Field, San Francisco.     A BURROWING OWL in the rip-rap 
along the bay just north of the tidal lagoon.
