RE: Cherry-headed Conures Aratinga erythrogenys (aka Red-Masked
    Conures, Red-masked Parakeets)

Within the last week we have happily noticed that there are at least
4 of these parrots in our area (near James Kenny park in West
Berkeley, between Cedar and Delaware, between San Pablo and 6th Streets).
Until recently we saw or heard only one and feared the little flock
    was going to die out.

Anybody know how these new ones got here (no jokes necessary)?
Does anybody know where else these parrots are flourishing these
days? Still in San Francisco and Richmond?
And Sharon, did you ever find out what happened to the big flocks you
mentioned had flourished from Rockridge north in the 1990s?
