    EB Birders:
Apologies for the late post; my computer has been down until today. On Saturday, 07.26.06, I observed the Pacific Golden-Plover at the Hayward shoreline. At noon, the bird was approximately 1/2 mi. north of the slough/bridge area, out on the mud flat with 16+ Black Bellied-Plovers. There where 15 species of shorebirds present including both Turnstones, 12+ Red Knots and a Semipalmated Plover. I also had a male and female Bullock's Oriole on the walk out. The young Cooper's was very cooperative and afforded close views in the parking lot.
