On Wednesday mid-morning (July 26), my husband and I saw about 10-12
golden-plovers off shore at low tide, hanging out with gulls and avocets. It was
hard to get fine detail with our binoculars, but we identified them as Pacific
because some of them had so little black on them, as Sibley shows the females
    do.

    Hi, all.
Has anyone seen the Pacific golden plover since it
was spotted last Sunday near Franks Dump in Hayward.
Since no one has reported on it since then, I'm
assuming not, but if it is still around, I'd like to
get down to try to see it.
    Thanks,
