[EBB Sightings] Lake Merritt highlights

A GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE has joined the Canadas grazing on the lawn
between the Rotary Nature Center and the lawn bowling court.

The COOPER'S HAWK nest has a couple tail feathers sticking out over the top.
I'm pretty sure they're are attached to a brooding parent.

A distant tern on a buoy gave the impression of a LEAST TERN. It flew off
over the Kaiser Convention Center toward the bay.

Fledglings everywhere, including NUTTAL'S and DOWNY WOODPECKERS.

A single AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN lounging in the bird feeding area.
