    This morning about 7:30'ish I ran into Phil Gordon's Lindsay Museum birding
    class on Patterson Pass Rd.
    Together we worked the Willows at RM 5.90 south of the road.
    The wind was very strong so the birds were hunkered in > making for good
    viewing.
    1. Western Willow Flycatcher - Fly catching
    2. Sub - Adult Blue Grosbeak - singing
    3. Lazuli Bunting - singing found by Jim Ross of Pleasanton
    Jim told me that this morning he picked four life sighting including the
    Lark Sparrow all at RM. 5.90.
    Earlier, another singing sub-adult male Blue Grosbeak was in the small
    cottonwood walking west from RM. 7.14.
    On May 29 at RM. 7.14 I found a sub-adult male Blue Grosbeak that was
    feeding just north of he fence line in the wild oats .
    Not long after he flew into the Large cotton wood, a female Blue Grosbeak
    flew across the road pass the cottonwood on to the hill side.
    Have a great weekend.
