    As far as I know (which isn't very far) such a large flock of Oak Titmice is 
    certainly an aberation of normal behavior. With so many recent sightings of 
    cedar waxwing flocks, is mistaken identity a possiblity? If the viewer 
    didn't have the benefit of binoculars, the silhouettes of a distant flock of 
    birds with crests could be misleading. Other characteristics would be 
    helpful. Vocalization? Feeding? Flight patterns? etc .
