At the Albany Bulb this afternoon around 4:00-4:30, there were at least
12 Black Oystercatchers foraging along the shore on the north side,
about 100 yards past the end of the road. The protected waters north of
the Bulb also had a Least Tern, 2 Caspian Terns, and a sharp looking
Bonaparte's Gull in full summer plumage.

On the Belgum Trail At Wildcat Canyon Regional Park, we did not find the
Great Horned Owl family in spite of a thorough search. The youngster
must be a good enough flier now to get to the patch of woods just downhill.
