There were 22 Band-tailed Pigeons perched in a pine across the street 
this morning, off Kerrigan Drive in the Oakland Hills southeast of 
Knowland Park. Also there are still Golden-crowned Sparrows, in 
breeding plumage and singing. Shouldn't they have left by now?
