[EBB Sightings] New backyard bird

Hi, all.
  Not only was it a new backyard bird, it was my first
sighting: a Cassin's Vireo hopping around our big
walnut.
  Also saw a golden-crowned sparrow--is it a bit late
to be seeing these around here?
  We're also seeing band-tailed pigeons at our feeder
on and off. Are there more of these around this year,
or have I just not noticed them in town before?
