    Your zonotrichia sparrows were all happily munching on my lawn this
    morning, along with my resident grazers.  Perhaps they stopped by for
    one last snack before heading north.  I'm in Orinda, near the Moraga
    border.  (The house with very little remaining lawn...)

    Same here! They were happily foraging in the yard yesterday afternoon
    and 
    evening, gone today. I wonder if the passing of a front might be
    involved? 
    I have not looked at a weather map today.
