Thursday Eugenia Larson and I found the following birds in Berkeley and
    Oakland:

Northern Waterthrush at the northeast corner of the south pond at Berkeley
    Aquatic Park.

Tufted Duck south of the ski jump at the north pond of Aquatic Park. It was
    on the far west side.

Seven shorebird species just south of Pt. Emery, including 7 Surf Birds,
Dunlin, Least Sandpipers, Black-bellied Plovers, Willits, Sanderlings and
    Black Turnstones.

A Cooper's Hawk and Red-breasted Sapsucker at Lake Merritt between Fairyland
and Perkins, but no Black-and-white Warbler.

Ross' Goose on the lawn way down to the southeast corner Lake Merritt
    towards the pergola.

A male Eurasian Wigeon and soaring Golden Eagle at the southwest corner of
the mitigation area at Arrowhead Marsh, MLK Shoreline.
