    Folks:

Around noon today, 2/20/06, I saw the NORTHREN WATERTHRUSH in the willows
at the northeast corner of the southern pond at Aquatic Park in
Berkeley. It was a very birdy spot there, but the waterthrush only bobbed
a couple of times as it came through and after a chip or two was gone. As
others have mentioned, the pair of HOODED MERGANSERS were in the middle
pond (west end). I looked for but did not see the Tufted Duck.
