[EBB Sightings] Bewick's Wren No. Oakland

Last year we found that a Chestnut-backed chickadee was spending the night 
perched on a hanging hook under the overhang of our front porch in south 
Berkeley. I put up a roosting pocket (purchased online) as a kind of "hotel 
room" for the chickadee, but the bird spurned the offering. Instead, within 
a few months a pair of Bewick's wren built a nest in the roosting pocket. 
They successfully reared a brood of four young birds.  I hope they return 
this spring.
