    This is the first year that I have had a Bewick's wren in the backyard =
    all winter.  It consistently comes to the sunflower feeder and the suet, =
    along with the usual mixed  flock of winter birds.  This is in Upper =
    Rockridge in the Oakland Hills.  Occassionally but consistently a =
    Red-Breasted Nuthatch comes down to the sunflower chips, but only when =
    there are no other birds present.  Many Lesser Goldfinches this year.
