    Hi all:

The Northern Waterthrush was in the northeast corner
of the southernmost pond at Aquatic Park in Berkeley
this afternoon at approx. 4:30. Bobbing along the
pond edge, and then preening in the middle of a bush.

The male and female Hooded Mergansers were perched on
posts at the southeast corner of the middle pond.

The male Tufted Duck was floating (surface-perched?)
just north of the island in the middle of the main
    lagoon; seen well from 4:45 -- 5:00.

    Good birding,
