[EBB Sightings] Hayward Shoreline

This morning at the Hayward Shoreline -

Downy Woodpecker - 1 at Winton, very rare here.

Cackling Goose - 1 on Mt. 'T'.

Short-eared Owl - 1 on Mt. 'T'.

Surfbird - 5 at Hayward Landing, Peter and Shiela saw 30 earlier in the morning.

Aleutian (Cackling) Goose - 50 near the radio towers.

Merlin - 1 seen in flight near the radio towers, non-adult male.

Ross Goose - 0, both the one seen by Peter last week near the radio towers and the bird at San Lorenzo Community Park for the last 2 years were not seen.

White-fronted Goose - 2 at San Lorenzo Community Park.
