    I'm a little slow in responding to this one, but I had a white stripe =
    morph White-throated Sparrow at my feeder in the Oakland hills on Dec 3 =
    and 11.  First one since 2000, which was a tan stripe morph.  There was =
    usually one (tan stripe) every year in the 1990's.  This recent one was =
    the first white stripe I've seen here.

        Four birders responded with White-throated Sparrows in their back =
    yards for a total of 6 WTSP in the east bay.
        Three birders responded with sightings of east bay Purple Finches .
        Tonight on the way home  at  5:15 PM  on HY 680 and HY84 (Sunol =
    Regional Park exit ) there were three White-throated Swifts .
