    Hi birders,

Yesterday and twice today I got a good look at two yellow-billed
magpies that are hanging out near the railroad tracks at the
intersection of Washington and Driscoll in Fremont. They were perched
in a big cottonwood both evenings, but this afternoon they were
perched together on the railroad crossing signal, investigating a
small dead rodent in the road.

I've seen yellow-billed magpies near this location a few times in the
summer, but this is the first time I've seen them there in the winter.

Also saw an American Kestrel sitting at the top of a tree in a nearby
    empty lot.
