    - Forgot to mention an abandoned possible wood-duck nest box seen along the
    now dry river . It has a carved ID no. "JPZO" - Just wondered if anyone knew
    about this?  Also forgot to mention this is basically 'locked-off' to folks
    (still potential hazard from mercury from the old Rhyne Mine at Mt. Diablo
    on upper Marsh Creek. Evidently the property is privately held and since not
    acting as an actual mine, it is not required that the owners do a clean-up.
    Even if Flood Control could help (financially), they're evidently not
    permitted to but they are working on 'good samaritan'  law that would allow
    this opportunity.  Anyway - happy Turkey day - see below! -sharyn
