[EBB Sightings] Laney College Snow Goose, Ross's Goose

Hi all:

This morning, Ashok Khosla and I saw a juvenile Snow
Goose and an Adult Ross's Goose w/ a Canada Goose
flock performing as grounds crew for the Laney College
baseball diamond.  The baseball field is betw. E 10th
and E 8th on the south side of the Lake Merritt
channel.  The Snow Goose is likely the same bird
reported by Travis Hails on Thursday.

Barrow's Goldeneye were out in force adjacent to the
visitor center on the NE corner of the lake.  No
Tufted Duck seen by us.

A Snowy Egret was well up on the NE lawn with the
mallards and was snatching houseflies off of leaves.
Looked like a pretty clever trick to me.  Seeing is
believing.
