    Hello E. B. Birders,
     
    A male Redhead was just north of Point Emery in Emeryville this morning. Buffleheads, Ruddy Ducks, scaup, Brown Pelicans, Horned Grebes, Black Turnstones, and additional shorebirds were around, too.  Always a pleasure to see the duck numbers increase on the bay.
     
    Re: Surfbirds
    I didn't see any Surfbirds, but they're sometimes seen with the Black Turnstones. There were a few here last month.
