    EBB folks:

Yesterday I was thrilled when a Vaux's Swift flying over my house became
my 102nd yard bird. This morning, while I was watching, half a dozen
more Vaux's Swifts flew east through Claremont Canyon. These birds are
very small, have only a little light gray at the throat, and have a
rapid, "twinkly" flight pattern - as opposed to the soaring of our more
common White-throated Swifts. What a treat that they chose to migrate
    through our canyon!
